THINGS TO REMEMBER
1-Arrival Time:
Please arrive by 9:45 am for a smooth transition into class. Late arrival disrupts the classroom flow and the students’ attention. When you arrive, please sign in your child in the hallway then proceed to their classroom. At the end of the third session, please make sure to sign out your child prior to leaving the building. The building is locked at 12:45pm and the parking gates are locked soon after.

2-Parking:
Please park on Milvia or Berryman Streets and surrounding residential neighborhoods. Please do not park in the parking lot of the school. Only the teachers and administrators are allowed to park in the parking lot. When you arrive, please ring the doorbell at main entry on Milvia Street OR, if you are coming from the parking lot area, come into the building through the open doors at the playground level.

3-Safety:
Please be responsible for your child/children at all times outside of the classroom. Teachers are not responsible for the children while outside or between classes. If you have a young child, please remain by their side to help engage them in the activities and help teachers keep the classroom space as undisturbed as best as possible. Please be mindful that the School of the Madeleine is generously offering us the use of their facilities and it is our group’s responsibility to keep them clean and classroom materials intact and neat. When you leave, please lend a hand to help us clean the classrooms if possible.

4-Recess snack space:
We will utilize the bench area close to the garden. It’s far away from the cars, safer and more contained. Snack volunteers for each week – please check in with Guneycan, our Program Coordinator prior to setting up so that he can show you the space and help you set up if needed. We ask that all parents and children to make an effort in cleaning up after themselves by placing trash and recycleables into the appropriate bins.

5-Registration Waiver Forms:
The registration waiver forms in the welcome packet which is also on our website needs to be signed and brought to school by the 1st day of classes. We cannot accept your child into the classroom without this form.

6-Volunteer and Sign up sheets
We really depend on you, the parents, to volunteer for different tasks throughout the year in order to keep our school running. Please log into the Google document we will provide to sign up.
