“Let us put our minds together and see what life we can make for our children.”
— Teton Dakota, Indian Chief

The mission of the Berkeley Turkish School is to inspire the children of the Turkish American community and aid in their ability to understand, speak, read, and write Turkish. In addition, the students learn about their cultural heritage through creative play, songs, traditions, geography, history, and literature.

Our intent is to create an environment where our school enhances our students' self-confidence and provides a setting that encourages forming of new friendships with other Turkish speaking children.

We are a volunteer based non profit public charity and expect parents to be actively involved and volunteer their time during the weekend classes.

Thanks to you, for our Fall Fundraiser this school year, we were able to raise $ 3515 dollars as of today.

If you haven’t done so, please consider making a meaningful donation to the Berkeley Turkish School before the end of the year. If you or any of your friends who work at the following companies: Google, Apple, Intel, and Merrill Lynch please consider to make a gift  where these companies will match your donation.

We invite you and your family to join us to celebrate the holidays at our school’s  get-together party on December 17th, 2017. Without our community's generous and continuous support we couldn't do it. Thank you.
